FEATURES
- 4 AC outputs support loads up to 10A at 110V-220VAC.
- CLEVER LOCKTM connectors for easy pixel wire attachments.
- 3 different control modes:
- WS281X Pixels (via included xConnect 3-4-3 Tee)
- DMX (via RJ45 passthru jack)
- Long Range Receiver (via RJ45 passthru jack)
- On board OLED with radial dial and button for configuration, and status display.
- Preset dimming curves include LED and incandescent light curves.
- Can’t find the right dimming curve? Make your own, right from the OLED.
- Real time visualizing of per-output dimming level.
- The board comes fully assembled inside a weatherproof enclosure.
- Includes a mini 4-Core xConnect tee which allows for data input & data output, for optionally daisy chaining more pixels.
- Includes 1 x 16AWG, Grounded AC Power input, and 4 x 18AWG Grounded AC Power output cords.
- Field programmable for firmware updates via USB-C connector.
- Pixel2AC4 is 4 channel, so it can be represented as a single RGBW pixel in your sequencer & controller configuration.
Daisy Chaining
WS281X Daisy Chaining
Daisy chaining can be achieved using the included 3-4-3 tee. Pixel2AC4 will consume 4 channels of lighting data, and pass on the rest.
DMX or Long Range Receiver Daisy Chaining
This product has a single RJ45 input only. To daisy chain, an external solution is required to maintain a continuous bus.
For DMX, you will set define the start DMX channel via the OLED menu. It will use 4 DMX channels.
For Long Range Receiver data, set the Pixel Controller’s Long Range output to “dumb” (non-daisy-chained receivers). You can still daisy chain Pixel2AC4 units by using the OLED menu. Select the Long Range output to read from (1–4) and then set the channel offset. This works similarly to DMX addressing.
